thailand... (my story)

for the past few days I've been completely freaked out because I have a really good friend who lives in Thailand, and that entire area is having tsunamis. The death toll is up to almost 120,000 people... it's awful.

I was trying to get in touch with my friend because I was afraid she'd been killed, and she wasn't responding to my e-mails. I was freaked, so I gave her cellphone a call. It rang, and rang, then kicked over to voicemail. Not sure what else to do, I sent a text message to her phone... hoping for a reply.

Last night, on the way to the movies, my phone chirped... alerting me to a reply to my text message. Giving a sigh of relief, I read that she was fine but her cousins are dead.
