Maps that are wrong.

Nothing sucks more than (other than the gas prices right now) driving along... following a map... and driving up to where a highway is SUPPOSED to be. Highways that are planned, under contstruction, or even lost funding!

Today, I stumbled across this gem on Google Maps (part of Route 44 in Massachusetts)... you can see here in Hybrid mode that the software thinks its there and would happily direct you that way... when in reality you'd be driving on dirt. :)



Looking at map view.. you'd never know!


Luckily you'd probably be able to find your way... but imagine the surprise. This kind of thing is a recipe for disaster.
