Why DO "Corn Pops" come in that Foil bag?Permalink: 2/23/2006 08:48:00 PMWikipedia has the answer! The cereal is also known for going stale much faster than other cereals and is packaged in a different bag than normal cereals to keep it from doing so.Great to know. I also now know that they've changed the name to just "POPS" as of January 2006... thanks to the Colbert Report. Stupid. Link --- Wednesday, February 22, 2006

Emoticons -> Iron Dots?Permalink: 2/11/2006 11:44:00 PMDamn, that's a good idea. I remember those things from arts and crafts, like with the wax paper and everything. Hilarious. Link Rules of the Road.Permalink: 2/11/2006 11:05:00 PM"In most early motor vehicles the driving seat was in the middle. Later some carmakers chose to have it nearest the centre of the road to help drivers look out for oncoming traffic, whilst others chose to put the seat on the other side so that the drivers could avoid damaging their vehicles on walls, hedges, roadside gutters and other obstacles. Eventually the former idea prevailed." -- Wikipedia ![]() Anyone who's wondered what you do when the side of driving changes, watch for signs. :) ![]()

I [used to] spend too much money.Permalink: 2/11/2006 03:08:00 AMOver the next few months I must learn the value of a dollar and stop blowing money on stupid car/tech/whatever sh**. I need to get it together. Food and shelter. (I have clothes, already, thank god.) Welp, guess that's that.Permalink: 2/10/2006 05:39:00 PMI'm glad we've finally realized that time-travel is impossible. I think the only "time-related" travel is "time-less" travel by exceeding the speed of light? Anyone? That or Einstein's theory of time acceleration under the same circumstances... crazy. PayPass?Permalink: 2/09/2006 04:49:00 PMLast week sometime, my bank froze my debit card because someone somehow got the number and charged $1.27 to it. Thanks, ya' jerk! So this week they sent me a new one, and it happened to have this new "PayPass" feature that works nowhere provided by Mastercard. I'm happy to say that in the future this will save time, especially when buying gas, but hurry the hell up! Right now this is wasting my time by adding a slight amount of weight and size to my wallet, this making my walking less aerodynamic and causing massive slowdowns over time. --- Wednesday, February 08, 2006
The best family guy sound clip, ever.Permalink: 2/08/2006 11:14:00 PMCourtesy of Dan from UNEASYsilence. Link Safari Tip (for Mac Users)Permalink: 2/08/2006 10:08:00 PMI just found this out. If you hold down Alt/Option when pressing enter for a URL, it'll download the file/page instead of going to it! Neat... we've needed something like this for a while. EDIT: Ryan says that it also works in Camino and Firefox. Word up. --- Friday, February 03, 2006
